Celebrating Women In Tech

In celebration of women in tech, we are delighted to shine a spotlight on the remarkable achievements of women in the workforce, while also acknowledging the persistent gender disparities that exist globally. At Pivot88, we take immense pride in our commitment to diversity and inclusivity.

As we celebrate, we want to share some interesting facts comparing our own statistics to the global female workforce, highlighting the strides we have made and the challenges that still lie ahead:

Women account for 47.7% of the global workforce. At Pivot88, 43% of our total workforce is female. 

Globally women currently hold only 26.7% of tech-related jobs.

In fact, the percentage of women in all tech-related careers has actually decreased over the last 2 years. 

The total representation of women in big tech jobs decreased by 2.1% between 2020 and 2022, with smaller tech companies receiving the most significant hit at 5.1%. While we believe all Pivot88 female associates work in tech-related jobs, if we segment out those who only work specifically with technology development and deployment, 34% of our tech-related team are women!

Since 2019, the representation of women in senior vice president roles has decreased from 18% to 13%.

At Pivot88 53% of our leaders are women! So while global trends are showing a slow down in female lead technology positions, we are the opposite at Pivot88.
